Example scenario · illustrative, not a real seller
A beautiful example outfit draws your attention, but its caption gives no measurements. Use this workbench to connect the visual offer with the garment facts and the actual fee stack.
What you’ll get
- Keep styling separate from supported condition claims.
- Find the dated US fee breakdown.
- Understand why optional Boost is a separate decision.
Use style to show the item, not hide it
The starting guide connects photographs with tagged size, measured dimensions, included parts and defects. A mood or aesthetic can help explain styling, but it cannot establish manufacturing age, fabric content or condition.
Use the vintage-clothing guide when a decade claim is uncertain. Do not turn a trend word into evidence about the garment.
Worked example: five views with five jobs
Choose two overall views and three details: tag, cuff and a known flaw. That makes five images in this illustrative photo plan. It is not Depop's required photo count or a claim that five images sell better.
If another important defect remains unseen, add the appropriate evidence rather than defending the count. The goal is an informed buyer, not a perfect-looking checklist.
The fee page answers a different question
Our US fee guide cites Depop's processing schedule and Boosted Listings Policy checked November 8, 2026. It separates commission, processing and optional promotion; the Boost policy has its own effective date and attribution terms.
A listing can look creative and remain precise. Review both the garment promise and selling costs before deciding that a sale price leaves enough operating room.

Practical questions
Does Depop zero commission mean no deductions?
No. The US fee guide separates payment processing and optional qualifying Boost charges from selling commission. Read each base and current scope.
Does this hub provide a secret ranking method?
No. It focuses on truthful product information and known published policies, not unsupported algorithm claims or sales guarantees.
