What does this marketplace sale actually leave?

Three explicitly limited US seller-fee profiles from official schedules checked November 8, 2026. One item, one domestic order—not every category or account.

Use the bench in three moves

  1. Check product safety, permitted saleability and actual terms first.
  2. Fill every applicable cost; keep unknown assumptions labelled, not silently zero.
  3. Read the method and exclusions, then change one assumption to test the downside.

Use actual costs or clearly chosen scenarios. Enter zero explicitly where a cost does not apply. Our application does not send or save these entries.

Method and boundaries

For one item/order: receipts = item price + shipping credited to seller, never marketplace-collected buyer sales tax. eBay US non-Store most-categories profile: 13.6% of the fee base up to $7,500 and 2.35% above, plus $0.30 when the order total is $10 or less, otherwise $0.40. Fee base includes item, applicable buyer shipping and marketplace-collected sales tax; only ordinary domestic shipping is modeled. Mercari US: 10% of item + buyer-paid shipping, excluding buyer sales tax; its buyer fee is not a seller deduction. Poshmark US: $2.95 below $15, 20% at $15 or above, on item price only; enter no buyer-shipping credit and include seller shipping discounts/upgrades in your paid shipping cost. Fee is rounded to cents for this estimate. Profit = receipts − modeled selling fee − acquisition − paid shipping − all other entered costs. Excludes income tax. Extra category rates, Store rates, shipping exceptions, multi-item orders, promotions, listing fees, performance surcharges, currency/international charges, fee taxes, refunds, optional withdrawal charges and account-specific terms are not inferred: check eligibility first and include known extras in other costs or use the editable tools. This is a dated snapshot, not a quote or a promise.
