From the resale workshop
Will the protected item fit the box?
Check interior geometry before buying a carton. This does not set a shipping price or establish that your chosen cushioning is adequate.
Use the bench in three moves
- Check product safety, permitted saleability and actual terms first.
- Fill every applicable cost; keep unknown assumptions labelled, not silently zero.
- Read the method and exclusions, then change one assumption to test the downside.

Method and boundaries
Required interior dimension on each axis = item dimension + twice your chosen cushioning thickness. Compare each with the corresponding box interior dimension. The entered orientation is fixed; rotate by entering the dimensions in a different order if appropriate. A negative difference means insufficient room on that axis. Uses geometric space only: thickness is your assumption, not a carrier packing recommendation. Does not model compression, dividers, multiple items, box strength, fragile-item protection, mailable contents, outer dimensions, actual/dimensional weight or postage. Weigh and measure the final OUTSIDE parcel and obtain a current official carrier quote.

One axis stops the fit
Item 10 × 8 × 4 inches, chosen padding 1 inch on every side, usable box interior 11 × 10 × 6 inches. One inch is not a packaging recommendation.
Required interior 12 × 10 × 6 inches. Length is short by 1 inch. Geometry only: no claim about adequate protection, mailability or postage.
